DVA Registered Provider
Community nursing for veterans, with a team that understands.
CISP Specialised Care is a DVA registered provider delivering community nursing to veterans and their dependants across South Australia. Our Registered Nurses provide clinical care in your home — with a GP or hospital referral, there is no cost to you.
Nurse-led care for those who served
Veterans deserve care that recognises their service and meets their clinical needs with the same professionalism they gave to their country. CISP brings Registered Nurses directly into the home, so veterans receive skilled clinical care without the burden of travelling to a clinic. Every DVA client has a dedicated Registered Nurse who coordinates their care, liaises with their GP and specialist team, and ensures their care plan reflects their current health needs. We understand the unique health challenges that can come with a life of service, and we approach every visit with respect, discretion and clinical expertise.

How DVA community nursing is funded
The Department of Veterans' Affairs funds community nursing services for eligible veterans and their dependants. CISP is a registered DVA provider, which means eligible veterans pay nothing for our nursing services.
Who is eligible?
Veterans who hold a DVA Gold Card are eligible for the full range of community nursing services. Veterans with a White Card may be eligible for nursing services related to their accepted conditions. Dependants of eligible veterans may also qualify.
How is it funded?
DVA pays CISP directly for approved nursing services. There is no out-of-pocket cost to the veteran. A referral from your GP or treating hospital is required to initiate services — we can help guide you through this process.
Gold Card vs White Card
Gold Card holders have access to the broadest range of funded health services with no restrictions. White Card holders are funded for treatment of accepted service-related conditions only. Not sure which applies to you? Call us and we will help.
Not sure if you or your family member is eligible? Call our team on 08 7084 6680 and we will check your entitlements with you.
